Product Description

Dioscorea oppositifolia L. (Dioscorea oppositifolia L.) is a twining, grassy vine of the genus Dioscorea. The tubers are long cylindrical and grow vertically. Stems usually purplish-red, dextral, glabrous. Simple leaves, alternate on lower stem, opposite above middle. Male flowers are spicate, 2-8 cm long, suberect, 2-8 in axils. Capsule not reflexion; The seeds are located in the middle axis of each chamber. Flowering period from June to September, fruit period from July to November.
