Born at the edge of mountain forests, under shrubbery, and in ditches. Mainly produced in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, and Shaanxi. Warm in nature, sweet and bitter in taste. It can soothe tendons and promote blood circulation, relieve cough and phlegm, dispel wind and relieve pain.
